Advances participants’ foundational skill of group facilitation to include specialization in facilitating groups in conflict and groups with conflicting identities and backgrounds, which is a core skill to community and group work with families, youth, and marginalized communities. Examples include groups of married men and women whose resettlement process created a shift in gender roles that deepened divides between them, or groups of refugees who fled different types of conflicts, be it national or ethnic, where identity plays a major role.
