Social Work for Social Change Fellowship supports the inclusion and empowerment of women from marginalized minority groups to further community and social development. Women from the following groups - Bedouin in the Negev/Naqab (Israel); Palestinians in rural areas in the West Bank; Syrian refugees in Germany; First Nations communities in Canada; and Moroccan women from rural areas - study for a Masters of Social Work in their respective countries complemented with training in our MLA followed by a placement in local community organizations.
International MSW Fellowship is a fully funded opportunity for leaders at the forefront of civil society in conflict areas to be trained in interdisciplinary Community Development and Peace-building during a two-year Masters of Social Work. They spend the first year of the programme in a host university engaged in a comprehensive academic and social program. They then complete field placements in affiliated community practice centres, forging strategic alliances to promote rights based civil society organizations and grassroots movements, working together across borders.
